Danhouse Security appoints new management team
Danhouse Security – a manned guarding and support services business – has appointed a new senior management team. The current Managing Director, Neil Barham, is leaving to make way for new leadership led by Chief Executive Officer John Fitzpatrick, supported by Waleed Eltayib, Edward Holmes and Pritika Varsani as Operations Director, Commercial Director and Finance Director respectively.
Commenting on his predecessor, John says: “Since joining the business in 2017 Neil has brought changes to systems, performance and reporting that have helped see the business through some challenging times. He was also one of the first in our industry to embrace the Living Wage for all our employees. Now is the time to build on those foundations and establish Danhouse Security as the preferred security partner for property management companies and corporations looking after the most prestigious buildings across London.
“As well as meeting the needs of our clients, we will also be ensuring our frontline security officers are well supported financially, physically and emotionally, and have access to best-in-class training and genuine career progression.”
John, a familiar name in the City security environment, has more than 30 years’ operational experience, having started his career with Thorn Security in 1986. Most recently he was Director of Operations at Bidvest Noonan following its acquisition of Axis Security in 2021.
With John are Waleed Eltayib and Edward Holmes. Waleed, who is responsible for day-to-day operational matters, is well-equipped for the role, having started in the industry 20 years ago as a security officer and risen through junior, middle, and senior management to become Director of Operations for his previous employer. He has significant and proven experience in the management and operational delivery of innovative blue-chip security operations to organisations and iconic destinations including The Crown Estate, Paddington Central, Southbank Place and The Scalpel.
Edward is similarly very experienced in working with the demands of blue-chip customers, having started his career with Securitas in 1997. A former Business Development Manager with Axis Security and Bidvest Noonan, Ed will work closely with the operational management teams to ensure its clients’ and organisations’ expectations are met.
Pritika Varsani, joining as Finance Director, has more than 10 years’ experience in the security industry working at CIS Security, Bidvest Noonan and Axis Security. Pritika is a Fellow Chartered and Certified Accountant (FCCA) and will have overall responsibility for Danhouse Security’s Finance department.
